Hyatt Gold Passport

The Hyatt Gold Passport is a loyalty program that allows members to earn points for free stays at Hyatt brand hotels, receive airline miles or receive a free car rental. There is a simple form to fill out online and once you do, you can start earning points.

You can earn 5 points for every eligible dollar you spend at a Hyatt hotel. In addition to earning points for the room, you can also show your card and earn points for dining in the hotel restaurant or taking advantage of some of their other services. Renting a car from Avis or Sixt car rental agencies entitles you to earn points (300 per day) on your Hyatt Gold Passport. You do not have to stay at a Hyatt property to earn points when renting a car. For every 6,000 points you accumulate, you are entitled to one day of a free car rental.

Hotel rooms can be redeemed for as little as 5,000 points for a tier one, standard room or can cost in excess of 30,000 points for a luxurious suite in a top end category 6 property. There are no blackout dates and you can use your points anytime.

If you prefer, points can be converted to airline miles for use on over 30 travel partners. If you choose, you can also donate your points to charity (Make A Wish Foundation) and help fulfill the dreams of a sick child. It costs nothing to sign up and membership does indeed offer some outstanding rerwards.
